Nazirah
Purpose: The transitional stage after completing Qaida, where the learner begins reading the actual Quranic text by looking at the Mushaf (physical copy of the Quran).
Focus: Developing fluency and accuracy in reading directly from the book, applying the basic pronunciation rules learned in Qaida.
Goal: To become comfortable and confident in reciting the entire Quran from beginning to end, ensuring proper articulation and flow while visually following the text.
Tilawah with Tajwid
Purpose: This encompasses the overall act of reading the Quran, with a strong emphasis on Tajweed.
Focus: Applying the advanced rules of Tajweed, which govern the precise pronunciation, intonation, rhythm, and elongation (madd) of every letter and word. It ensures the recitation is beautiful and adheres to the method used by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Goal: To master the art of recitation, often under the guidance of a qualified teacher, to a standard that preserves the authenticity and beauty of the divine words. This is often the goal of dedicated "recitation" courses beyond basic reading.
Noorani Qaida
Purpose: This is the foundational stage for absolute beginners, typically children or non-Arabic speakers.
Focus: Learning the basic Arabic alphabet, their sounds (pronunciation points or makharij), and how to join them to form words and simple sentences.
Goal: To build the necessary literacy skills to recognize and articulate the Arabic script correctly before attempting to read the actual Quranic text.
